The Gospel Co+Op Increases Sending Capacity

SEND Residency

Select

Philosophy: A careful selection process designed to find only truly qualified (re)Planter candidates: Character, Conviction, Competency and Calling. Preferential selection from Co+Op church members.

Process: Three step process initial application, church (re)planter profile, final interview.

Equip

Philosophy: Give hands-on real-world experience in church contexts and address specific weaknesses while providing exposure to ministry responsibilities that will be universally applicable.

Process: One-year residency, with compensation, providing Academic, Pastoral, Missional training in the ability to form a team, identify a people and place, find people of peace, sow the gospel, invite to biblical community, make disciples, celebrate God and His work, multiply.

Network

Philosophy: Healthy, gospel-centered, kingdom-minded church cooperation under the BF&M in many forms from financial assistance to mentoring relationships and experiential opportunities.

Process: Serve as expert Networking guides for residents to find support from SBC entities, churches and (re)planters.

Deploy

Philosophy: Strategic deployment based on long-term plan for our city.

Process: Site selection begins immediately upon start of residency with tours of targeted (re)plant areas and churches so residents can assess their calling and fit. Residents will conduct ongoing exegesis of the site culture, rally a core team from the Co+Op churches and launch a fully supported, biblically faithful (re)plant.
